Day 1: Amritsar
Pick-up from Amritsar Airport/Railway Station and drop to Hotel. Check-in hotel. Start your city tour with the blessings of Sri Harmandir Sahib.
Visit Jallianawala Bagh, Jallianwala Bagh is one of the most important historical places in India. The heart-wrenching history of Jallianwala Bagh Amritsar dates back to the year 1919 when India was under British rule. It was the 13th of April, the day of Vaisakhi (birth of Khalsa) when thousands of people including Sikhs, Hindus, and Muslims.
Then Visit Durgiana Temple, The Durgiana Temple is one of the most important Hindu Temples located in the Amritsar district of Punjab. Durgiana Mandir derives its name from Hindu Goddess, Durga, and hence, along with idols of Goddess Laxmi, and Lord Vishnu, the idol of Goddess Durga is also worshipped here.
Later Drive to Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, Maharaja Ranjit Singh who was called the lion of Punjab played a decisive role in Indian history and established a very vast kingdom with the help of the sword. One side he extended his territory to the Khyber Pass and china and another side to the Sind and Sutlej.
After Lunch Drive to Wagah border, Wagah Border is famous for its beating retreat border ceremony between the neighboring countries India and Pakistan. Wagah border lies on the outskirts of Amritsar near the controversial Radcliffe Line, the boundary demarcation line dividing India and Pakistan during the Partition of India, was drawn. By late evening return back to hotel.
